Descriptive details

This vase is hand blown glass, with a crimped rim (created using a crimping tool whilst the glass is still hot).

Identifying details

The crimping seen on the rim of this piece is stylistically indicative of Japanese art glass. The attribution to Lefton, an importing company which imported Japanese glassware and porcelain to the United States, is based upon seeing a Lefton foil label on an identical piece.

This vase was also made in bright yellow.
