Red glass candle votives are separate pieces and not an originally used or included with the silverplate.

Descriptive details

These are a pair of silver-plated candlesticks with grape and geometric art deco motifs, meant to be used with taper candles. The underside is covered with blue felt.

Identifying details

On the base, they are inscribed with "Made in England Silver-Plated". These candlesticks were produced from the 1920s through the 1940s. I have also seen the larger 5-arm candelabra which matches with the same grape motif.

Additional information about Sheffield

Sheffield was/is primarily involved in the production of porcelain fine china and dinnerware, not strictly silverplate.
